Youth Programs

Read and Rec !

Join us for an afternoon of great stories followed by great games! Each session will include stories read by our enthusiastic staff, books to check out, and we'll finish the afternoon off with games and activities in the pool

1^st- 4^th Grade / York Community Center / Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towel! / Free to Register!

Tot-Time

Parents give yourself a break and your child a little play time. Each session will include fun activities for the children that will allow them to interact, create, excercise, and have fun!

Where: York Community Center / Fee: $8.00 for one session, $12.00 for both / Age: 3-5

Wiggles and Giggles

We'll never stop moving in this class! Register your child for a class where we expore music, dance, and fun! This introduction to tumbling allows children the opportunity to dance, jump, wiggle and giggle their way to a good time!

Ages 4- 1^st Grade / York Community Center / Fee: $3.00 for one session, $5.00 for both

Water Babies

This program is developed for children 6 months to 5 years of age and their parents to build swimming readiness by emphasizing fun in the water

York Community Center Pool / 6 months -5 years /Fee: $25.00 / Class Maximum: 10 parent/child pairs

Spring into Spring!

Don't let the winter weather drag you down, get ready for Spring! Join us in celebration of wonderful weather to come. Participants will have a morning filled with crafting, snacking, and gaming. Join us as we "Spring into Spring"!

Kindergarten- 3rd Grade / Saturday May 1^st 10:30-12:00pm / York Community Center / Fee: $ 8.00 / Deadline to Register: April 16^th

T-Ball

"Let's Play Ball"

York Parks & Recreation will be offering a T-ball for boys & girls that are 5-7 years of age by August 1, 2010.

Players will be introduced to the basic fundamentals of softball/baseball in a fun, positive, energetic, & organized atmosphere.

Games are played at Duke Park & York Fairgrounds on Tuesday & Thursday in June.
